Dear Parents, students and well-wishers of the LBS family- my prayerful greetings to all of you. As we step into this new academic year, filled with hope and dreams of scaling new heights, I wish to reiterate the importance of few things that we have to keep in mind. Parents should remember that children should not be forced, but should be guided to achieve whatever goals they may have in their minds.
With proud legacy of 48 years, the college has excelled in every field. Many students have registered their presence in the merit list of Punjabi University and others have brought laurels in cultural activities in zonal and inter-zonal youth festivals.
With experienced and dedicated teachers and excellent infrastructure, our college helps students to realize their goals in life. I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the college and involve themselves in all the extra curricular activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body is a sign of a healthy and complete development.
The college provides all facilities like Library, Computer Labs, Internet facility, Laboratories, Language Lab., Indoor Sports Auditorium and Sports activities to meet the needs of the new upgraded pattern of education. Hostel facility is provided with wholesome nutritious food and care. Buses ply on specific routes, enabling the students from different parts of the district to reach the college on time.
Alongside students can also take advantage of so many Govt. Schemes like SC/ST and Sikh Minority Scholarship which are available in our institution. Fee for various academic, professional and skill oriented course are far less as compare to other colleges. Apart from this disciplined and nature friendly environment of college guarantees full security of young aspirants.
It is a matter of pride that the college has been granted ‘B’ grade with 2.61 CGPA in NACC accreditation in 2015. This could be possible with the hard work done by college staff and students under the guidance of visionary management. I am thankful to our management for their active participation and valuable contribution to this institution.
